The rooftop pool offered fine views and was a perfect spot for relaxation. While the staff were friendly, the breakfast restaurant was quite noisy was great. The food at the Tosca restaurant was disappointing, despite the tasty options available at Prickley Pear. It was a positive experience that provided good value for money.

What a fantastic stay, no complaints. Fairly clean and quaint property with satisfactory English breakfasts and splendid staff. Away from the main road, in a very central position. Also - near the restaurant and the cleaner, Solana and Malta.

Very cozy hotel, friendly and ready to help the staff, good swimming pools, the rooms are very clean and spacious, so much liked the hotel that I did not even want to leave there
Located far from the tourist cities and the capital, but the city itself is very picturesque and atmospheric

Great buffet for breakfast and dinner, comfortable warm indoor pool.
Ask for a room upstairs, or in a building farther from the reception - less noisy.

The location of the hotel was great and also the rooms were simply great and comfortable. The staff was always very nice and helpful. Especially when eating, my gluten intolerance was taken into consideration very well and everything was shown to me, special products offered or even special gluten-free food prepared. Simply super :)

The staff was very friendly and provided great service. Breakfast is a various spread and the staff works hard to keep cleanliness. The spa service was luxurious-a real treat!
The pillows in the room was the only complaint that we had. They were flat and uncomfortable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool a bonus with beautiful views to the sea. Room a very ample size.
The gym did not have a cross trainer or treadmill. Balcony small but adequate.

The rooms were a good size and the food was acceptable.
Beds were too light moved around, too many hidden extra charges tv no good radio no good, rooftop pool far to small and open to outsiders when there were not enough sunbeds for the guests, was charged 5euro just for ice in the room, cleaning staff very poor cups left dirty etc, no refills on tea or coffee

An excellent choice and very reasonably priced for what you get. Very comfortable. I had a quality spotless room with nice balcony at the back and am very glad I didn't have a front room overlooking the very noisy road. Super location, great facilities and a top breakfast buffet with a huge range. The pools are a little on the small size but the rooftop one is okay with lots of sun beds. The gym had a dozen standard machines. I never had evening meals at the hotel but heard they were 'okay'. I preferred to use local small supermarkets and bakeries and try out lots of different food. Restaurent meals in the area were generally ridiculously expensive (about 18 euros a meal) but you can eat cheaply easily. Local wine from supermarkets was excellent a cheap. The best thing is the location. The bus stop is opposite the hotel. The beach is 5 mins away, the gozo ferry 10 mins away and busses to Valetta about 40 minutes. I would definately book here again.
